Future of Giving Metaverse event

Before “Meta” had announced their rebrand, the metaverse was a concept known mainly to the digitally curious. Charities were still reeling from the shift to Virtual, and though many had run very successful campaigns; needed reminded that the need to innovate was not going to go away! We set out to show charities what a fundraising event in a metaverse world would look like.

A bespoke microsite designed entirely to drive registrations, and showcase the technologies at play; custom peer-to-peer fundraising fully integrated with a metaverse world provider, to create an in-world webinar, an in-world DJ performance, and donation flows that bridged the virtual and the real by scanning QR codes within the virtual world with your real-world phone. Real world donations, would appear on an on-screen leaderboard in the metaverse event, as DJ Jazzy Jeff performed live.
